YouTube Doodle
Since 2021 I’ve been working for Advanced Systems Group / The YouTube Art Department - my primary project is the YouTube Doodle. The Doodle is designed to highlight niche interests, special events, or specific communities on YouTube, and takes the form of a short animation that takes over the YT logo, a larger banner illustration, and a special playlist or web experience that provides a deeper dive into whatever topic we may be highlighting. I am one of two in-house illustrators for the program - for any given Doodle I work on, I storyboard & design frames for the animated logo, team up with an animator for the final logo animation, and illustrate the homepage promo banner.
